I stopped watching to escape Moffat’s unpleasantness — but this is inescapable and damn near inexcusable. Hartnell was my first doctor, Baker my favourite for years, but Eccleston holds a special place in my memories that is now being retroactively falsified by untrammeled authorial arrogance.
